Blue Tulip Gallery LoveHug Heart Art Auction for the British Heart Foundation

Over the years I have used my passion for art and painting to raise money and awareness for various charities.

The first heart art project was for the The British Heart Foundation, a collaborative initiative saw the birth of the very first community LoveHug.  I designed a very large LoveHug to be painted at a community event, those who donate could paint a heart.   When the canvas was completed, it was  auctioned to raise even more funds and the image was used for merchandising and promotion and  finally auctioned at a charity event.

This event was so inspiring, I have since designed and organised a further 3 community LoveHug paintings.  One was donated to The Heatherwood Hospital Cardiology Department, UK which cheers up the ward immensely.  The third was for The Eve Appeal, a charity which aims to fight women’s cancers, this painting now hangs in the UCLH Clinical Research Facility of the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and the fourth hangs in Motril  hospital in Spain for a charity called Acompalia.

Every year I pledge to make a donation payment of £5 for each LoveHug sold so when you buy a LoveHug for that special person in your life you are also making a small contribution to a very worthy charity.
